A businessman and Casanova Karan Mittal (Rohit Roy) sees Mitali (Rituparna) at a Fashion Show and Crushed on her. He tries to a friendship with her. Very aggressive in his Friendship, he just tries make relastionship with her but Mitali doesn’t allow him . She makes distances with him. But after few months he entries in her life again ang try to marry with her. But on her mother insistence(Reema Lagoo)she ready to marry with him.After marriage her Mother in law(Dolly Thakore)creates problem for her as typical high society types who looks down on Mitali’s middle class up bringing and never leave chance for insulting her every day.Kran only find fault in Mitaliand abuses to her. When Mitali resists making love to him, he forces himself on her. From then on marital rape becomes a daily thing by Karan. Finally, Mitali want to end these whole from her life she conducted to her lawyer Karuna Maheshwari (Suchitra). The case is against one of the most known Defence Lawyer, Salunkhe (Gulshan Grover) who is the Lawyer of Mr. Karan never left a Moment without any Insult.in the Court. Mitali is almost on the verge of losing her case but last a hideous past occurs in front of them.
Film Story is not executed as the film can be. lintended by director Karan Razdan. the film could have been much better and a recommended watch had it not been for the frivolous execution of the marital rape sequences
It talks about marital rape but the camera goes Volguer during the rape scenes. Instead of making the audience feel angry about the rape, it tries to titillate. However, it is during the court room scenes when the film becomes more serious and bearable. Some important questions are raised and the subject thereon is tackled well. Technically the film appears shoddy as production values are very average.

Rituparna enacts her part well and brings out her helplessness effectively. Rohit Roy suits the role to the T. He is extremely natural. Gulshan Grover as the cool as cucumber defense lawyer is simply excellent. Suchitra Krishnamoorthy enacts her part well. Dolly Thakore is again a perfect casting.
